| | Centre pivot
doors are usually fitted with concealed overhead
closers (COC) and the door panel is positioned centrally
in the 102mm wide frame as detailed left. If there
are overlights we would use the pocketed jamb and
fit a flat closer in the door area. On doors without
overlights we can use a plain jamb as detailed left
centre. |
| | We have a dedicated transom designed to accept concealed
overhead closers (COC) and snap-in glazing beads in the transom configuration as shown lower centre. These beads can be square as drawn or splayed to match door under. If the doors under were double glazed we could fit the double glazing beads to the COC transom to
get double glazing in the highlight area. Details
on double glazed doors and fixed
units are shown later in this section. |
| | Matching
fixed head - For adjoining fixed lights we can
offer a matching (50mm deep) fixed head, as shown
lower right. The head illustration shows the improved
sightline obtained by matching the fixed head to the
adjoining COC head. |
| If required we also have wide pivot stiles. | |
