The AWS FrontGLAZE framing is similar to CentreGLAZE except that the glass is positioned close to the front face. We have successfully tested this system to 600Pa water resistance making the product suitable
for exposed locations. There are two frame sizes 102mm (Series
406) covering most applications and the 150mm (Series 606)
for over size units. There are mullion
span charts for both systems later in this section.
The following pages will highlight what we see as the main
features with this product. |
|
We offer several transom/sill options with glazing beads on the outside or inside. All variations
with their features and limitations are shown in this section. |
|
One of the features you will notice when scrolling through
the FrontGLAZE pages is the lack of visible drainage
holes on the front face. We have concealed these holes in
the front drip groove to enhance the visual appearance and
improve water resistance. |
|
We use the same 50mm thick hinged and sliding doors as CentreGLAZE,
for the same reason common 44mm thick doors don't comply
when the going gets tough and/or when the doors are over
size. |
|
FrontGLAZE has been designed to accept awning/casement
facing and non-facing sashes. Both types including hardware
options are shown later in this section. |
|
FrontGLAZE snaps to SlideMASTER
sliding doors and FoldMASTER Bi-fold doors. |
