Series 410 FoldMASTER™ Bi-fold Door Next Page

Hardware - Twinbolts

Custom Hardware - AWS offer three completely different types of propriotry hardware. ANDO™ shown left minimalistic square appearance, Miro shown lower centre has a curved appearance similar to a gum leaf where ICON™  shown lower left is crisp and sharp. Clearly specify your requirements when ordering.

Secure - The twinbolts are used to securely hold the folding panels into the head and sill. The stainless steel shoot bolts are secured into the ends of the stiles with extruded aluminium bolt guides that are designed to resist severe wind loads. The custom injection moulded nylon bolt keeper can be adjusted to pull the panels tight up on the frame seals.

Key locking - The twinbolt activator located about 1000mm from the floor operates both top and bottom bolt as the handle is turned 90°. For security and insurance reasons we recommend that you consider fitting the key lock twinbolt. We also offer a non-key version for projects where security is not as critical. For example elevated balcony installations.
On types BFD2, BFD4, BFD2+2, BFD6 and BFD4+2 this is the only device that holds the doors in the closed positions. It is important to remember is that these door types can only be locked/unlocked from the inside.
