Nailing
Fin Frame.
The head and jambs have a built-in nailing fin / weather
bar to make installation into cavity brick and brick veneer
as detailed on this page.
Sub-sill.
The
standard sub-sill also has
a built-in nailing fin to facilitate the sill installation.
Lugs.
The
nailing fin frame can be fitted with a dedicated adjustable
galvanised steel building-in lug. This is important on brick
installations if you don't want angle trim fixings with
visible fasteners.
