Glass Strength & Safety

There are two main strength issues to watch on ClearVENT™ sashes. The strength of glass supported on two sides and human impact. Both are covered in Australian Standard AS1288.

Sound Reduction
ClearVENT™ fitted with 6mm gave a sound reduction of 26dB(A) RW26. Tested at the National Acoustic Laboratories.
